Pinterest offers a wealth of good ideas. I found one a few months ago for a covered sandbox. I have been wanting to do it for awhile but just hadn’t started the project. Home Depot gave me a push with their recent commercial for DIY projects that promoted the covered sandbox.
So today, I made this for the girls. I still need to sand and paint but I am pleased with the results and it only took me a couple of hours to put it together (plus an hour at the store for the supplies).
Painted and released into the wild…
